I have to be honest. I don’t love seasonal home décor. Yep, I said it. I’m not the type of person who changes home décor for the fall holiday season. That includes Halloween, Thanksgiving and dare I say it...Christmas. However, I do recognize great decorating ideas when I see them. Not to mention, I also appreciate those who put in the time, money and effort to change up their home for the love of the season. So, I'm showcasing some festive fall decorating ideas that even I, can't deny.
Included are some great examples via Instagram of how adding non-traditional pops of color and items like wreaths, lanterns, pumpkins, gourds, seasonal plants and layers can make your home feel more festive this fall.
FRONT DOOR ENTRYWAY
There is no better way to welcome guests than with a beautiful front entrance.
FIREPLACE
Decorating the fireplace mantel and surround, in addition to adding artwork will surely bring warmth to a space.
TABLE SETTING
A beautifully decorated table will have people ready to feast on the meal to come.
LAYERED SEATING
Adding layers (i.e., throws, pillows) to your seating will provide a seasonal flare that is both comfy and stylist.
PUMPKINS
But these are not your traditional pumpkins. They come in glass, ceramic, velvet and a series of colors and patterns to match your style.
Do you change your decor for the fall season? If so, share what you do you make your home fall festive.
