There are a lot of furniture paint options on the market. Honestly, I have not tried them all. But boy, once I tried Annie Sloan Chalk Paint I never turned back. My first experience with Annie Sloan sold me. I got an antique buffet from my husband's aunt. Then, my husband found the matching dresser in the dumpster. Yes, the dumpster (don't judge me).

Chalk paint is expensive in price, but it is worth every penny. The wax cures amazingly and shines wonderfully. The purple painted lady recommended this buffing brush (love), and I won’t use anything else.
